Loida and Michael have felt the calling to participate in two overseas mission trips this year. We are sharing this information to ask for your spiritual support and if you feel led, for your financial support. The first of the trips will be in April to Haiti with the Atlanta Church Group to visit the Eco-Village School Project in the central plateau region of Haiti. The second will be this August with Hope for Nicaragua with the Baptist Medical and Dental International, this is a combined evangelical and medical mission.  Each trip is a week in duration. To learn more about these mission groups please follow the links in the article or drop either of us a note.

Quilting for a cause, Loida has made this beautiful quilt, seen below. Each square was hand cut, then sewn together in this artful pattern. The front and back were quilted together with quality cotton quilting material and a 80/20 cotton polyester batting, resulting in a quilt that is warm and decorative.

Rather than simply asking for your support, we would like to offer you a chance to win this beautiful quilt in return. We are having a raffle to give it away. A ticket will be $10 or 3 tickets for $25. Each ticket provides you with a chance to own this beautiful quilt.

The first image, on the top or left, is of the front side of the quilt. It is about 65″ by 75″. It is intended as a throw or large lap quilt that will also fit a twin size bed. The second image is the back  side of the quilt with a bright red back ground color. The quilt is very colorful and machine quilted in a nice repeating  pattern.

We thank you  for your consideration and your prayers for us as we prepare for these mission trips.
